Consolidate them all into a single mega-hub with 4 steps! You'll get the same supply coverage, but the 4-step hub will "push" supply along with your advancing forces much more impressively than the existing hubs. For example, in the very first scenario (Wadi Akarit), there are 3 small supply hubs scattered around the western side of the map. Are there enemies fortified on the front line already? Reord your engineers so they are good to go on turn one.ģ) Many scenarios feature a start with supply hubs in inefficient places. Make sure your tanks have their recon specs, and ideally a Priest and another spec. Make infantry units with 2 artillery specs sitting on the starting front line, so you can immediately start delivering effective suppression hits. You can redeploy specialists with no delay, so make sure you are building or re-building each unit's spec combination to suit the battle. A recon spec costs only 15 prestige, while an armor step costs 20 or 30 - and more importantly, replacing the armor step will cost your unit a decrease in xp, whereas adding a recon spec doesn't affect xp.Ģ) The deployment phase is there for a reason! Don't gloss through it to the battle, it is a vital opportunity for you to set up things for a win.

That means if the tank unit takes a KIA, the recon spec gets killed, not a core tank step. They are simply very efficient cannon fodder! A recon spec has the dubious advantage of coming first in the casualty order. The reason has nothing to do with clearing enemy territory or recon-in-force or anything like that. I'd make a video or a Steam guide, but too old and lazy!ġ) Always put a recon specialist with your tanks.
